The low noise level when opening can allow them to act undisturbed, without attracting the attention of the owners or neighbours.
\nTo ensure that the low noise level is only a benefit, and not a risk factor, it is necessary to increase the\u00a0security<\/strong>\u00a0level of the locks of\u00a0garages with up-and-over doors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The armoured locks for manual up-and-over doors with Upper Level security<\/strong><\/h3>\n

To increase the\u00a0security of the garage<\/strong>,\u00a0Viro<\/strong>\u00a0offers\u00a0Upper Level\u00a0solutions which are interchangeable with the locks fitted originally.<\/p>\n

To have a more secure\u00a0garage with up-and-over doors<\/strong>\u00a0the first step is to replace the standard lock with the\u00a0armoured lock for up-and-over doors (series 8217)<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

With the \u202ftwo\u00a0external protection plates<\/strong>\u00a0made of galvanized steel, the total thickness is 5 mm.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The cylinder<\/strong>, made of solid brass with 5 pins<\/strong>, has a case-hardened, tempered, copper and nickel-plated steel, pull-resistant and anti-drill protection.<\/p>\n

The interchangeability is also guaranteed by the increased length of the cylinder connecting bolt and fixing screws, which allow installation also on extra-thick up-and-over doors (up to 40 mm).<\/p>\n

The opening from the inside occurs thanks to a\u00a0removable blocking screw<\/strong>\u00a0which is impossible to grip from the outside with burglary tools.<\/p>\n

With the armoured locks, the security of the garage\u00a0<\/strong>will no longer be a problem.<\/p>\n

Accessories which can be integrated<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The armoured lock can be integrated with\u00a0accessories<\/strong><\/a><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>which can make it even more resistant.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0<\/strong>internal protection plate (art. 1.8234.0465)<\/strong><\/a><\/span>\u00a0<\/em>with a thickness of 2 mm, made of case-hardened, tempered and galvanized steel, makes attempted drilling more difficult.<\/p>\n

It is suitable for all types of\u00a0garages with up-and-over doors,<\/strong>\u00a0both those with European cylinder locks and those with a round cylinder.<\/p>\n

There are also the\u00a0adjustable tubular rods (single art. 8234.0028 and pair art. 8217.0028)<\/strong><\/a><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>made of galvanized steel.\u00a0<\/strong>They are telescopic, adjustable and extensible from 88 cm to 165 cm.<\/p>\n

By purchasing a\u00a04-way auxiliary deadbolt<\/strong>\u00a0(Art. 1.8324.D<\/strong>)<\/a><\/span> it is also possible to further upgrade the security level of your locks. It is made of galvanised steel, having a reconfigurable movement, and enables the number of locking points to be increased, thereby increasing the resistance.<\/p>\n

To best use the auxiliary deadbolt and install it correctly, there is the\u00a0auxiliary deadbolt fixing screws kit (art 1.8234.0740.D)<\/strong><\/a><\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/strong>il\u00a0connecting rod kit,\u00a0<\/strong>which is adjustable\u00a0from 42 to 72 cm<\/strong>,\u00a0(art. 1.8234.0028.D),\u00a0<\/strong>as well as the\u00a0<\/strong>floor striker (art. 8217.0069)<\/strong><\/a><\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you want to purchase\u00a0<\/strong>everything you need to make your lock even more resistant to attacks and attempted burglaries in a single batch, you can also choose the\u00a0complete kit (art. 1.8234.D028), consisting of 1 auxiliary deadbolt, 6 adjustable closing rods, 1 connecting rod, 1-floor striker and 1 kit of fixing screws.<\/strong><\/p>\n
